RURAL RESISTANCE IN THA URBAN AREA OF RONDONÍPOLIS-MT: AN ANALYSIS BASED ON THE PERCEPTION AND PRODUCTION OF SPACE IN THE CANIVETE STREAM MICROBASIN

Resumo
The main objective of this research is to analyze the spaces with field/rural activities surrounded by the urban in the Córrego Canivete Microbasin in Rondonópolis - MT, from the perspective of those responsible for the activities in these spaces and the surrounding residents. This study was important for understanding the dynamics of rural/field activities in the Córrego Canivete Microbasin, which is located in the middle of the city. To draw a socioeconomic profile, interviews were conducted with urban farmers and neighbors, who were still able to understand the degree of acceptance of typical rural activities in the city. A location map and a summary table were prepared to enable a better understanding of the study. It was concluded that the producers develop this rural practice for the love of life they had in the countryside, thus constituting a way of resisting the urban way of life, and the neighbors mostly agree with the activities practiced there; however, they understand that they should be developed in the rural area. countryside of the city.
